  • Transcripts & Standardized Tests

    • Required

    • Please provide the following to admissions@emeryweiner.org
      • Final, first semester report card for the current school year
      • Final, end of year report cards for the previous two school years
      • All standardized test results and attendance records for the above grading periods
    • Deadline:  JANUARY 22, 2024
  • Recommendation Forms

  • Entrance Exam

    • Required
    • The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is offered at select testing centers or remotely at home
    • Applicants may test twice during the admissions season (guidelines and dates online at iseetest.org)
    • Register at iseetest.org; provide school code 447570 to ensure EWS receives official reports
      • EWS is an optional test site the morning of Sunday, January 7, 2024 (limited availability, register early)
    • Deadline:  JANUARY 22, 2024  
  • Interviews

    • Required
      • Student Applicant – in-person interview, typically conducted during the “shadow day”
      • New parents – Zoom interview (only one parent is required to interview) 
    • Optional: Current EWS parents may choose to forego the parent interview if no discussion is needed
    • All interviews are conducted October-December (January dates may be added later)

  • Shadow Day

    • Optional but strongly recommended
    • Applicants may spend a full or half day on campus with a current EWS student October-January
    • Application must be submitted before registering for a shadow day

    • Recommended for parents new to EWS
    • Tours are designed for prospective parents, but student applicants are also welcome
