Emery/Weiner’s counselors Laura Larkin (Upper School) and Kimberly Wolf (Middle School) meet with students, individually or in groups, as academic, personal, interpersonal, and other issues arise. They are also integral members of Emery/Weiner’s academic and administrative teams. On a weekly basis, Mrs. Larkin and Mrs. Wolf meet with grade-level teachers, learning specialists, and administrators to track student progress, discuss any concerning changes in behavior, and develop outreach and support plans for students. Mrs. Larkin and Mrs. Wolf regularly communicate with parents and outside counselors in order to ensure a personalized and effective approach to student wellness on campus.
All students can make appointments with our counselors during school hours. Parents can reach Mrs. Larkin and Mrs. Wolf by phone or by attending one of the many parent education sessions they host throughout the year.
For campus wellness updates or dates of upcoming parent education sessions, look out for Counseling Department emails.
