At Emery We Believe In Commitment, Not Commandment.
At Emery/Weiner, we don’t believe in absolutes—we believe in empowering students. From helping shape school policies to launching new clubs, our students take an active role in shaping the life of our community. This sense of agency fosters confidence and moral self-reliance that stays with them long after graduation.
Our school life is framed by and infused with Jewish tradition, giving students not just knowledge, but also a deep sense of belonging and pride—gifts they carry forward for a lifetime.

Student Life challenges every student to learn with purpose, serve with heart, and lead with confidence—shaping the whole person.
Clubs & Activities
At The Emery/Weiner School, student life is all aboutconnection, growth, and discovery. Through strong relationships, hands-on learning, and a focus on real-world skills, students grow as thinkers, leaders, and friends.
We encourage Jaguars to try new things, chase their passions, and lead with confidence—on campus and beyond. From athletics and fine arts to clubs, academic teams, and social events, there’s something for everyone. Most students dive into a mix of activities, building lasting friendships while shaping their future.
Advisory groups bring students together in tight-knit circles or by grade to learn, grow, and connect beyond the classroom. The program tackles real-world topics—citizenship, leadership, time management, goal-setting, Tikkun Olam, inclusion, healthy choices, and more. Guided by faculty and guest experts, these sessions spark honest conversations and build the skills students need to thrive—at school, in their communities, and in life.
From spirited Homecoming events to student-run clubs, publications, and presentations, our Student Life team helps bring campus life to life. Students can launch new activities anytime—just meet a few simple guidelines set in partnership with Student Government to make it official.
Our Middle and Upper School clubs are as vibrant and diverse as the students who run them—covering everything from academics and arts to culture and service. Have an idea for a new club? Grab a friend, find a faculty advisor, and work with the Dean of Students to make it official. Clubs set their own meeting times—whether during Ma’amad/Kallah, before school, or after class—and most are entirely student-led from start to finish.
