Experience the Difference
The Rothschild Society was established in the spirit of Baron de Rothschild, who was instrumental in providing great financial assistance to the early Zionist settlements in the late nineteenth century. The Rothschild Society is comprised of individuals who helped underwrite Emery/Weiner in its infancy. For Rothschild, the threats to Jewish continuity were the pogroms and anti-Semitism of Eastern Europe; thus he responded. For us, the threat to the Jewish continuity is assimilation and lack of education; thus we too must respond. The State of Israel could not have been born without Rothschild. Similarly, our school needs Rothschild-like support.

Members in this society are recognized publicly and permanently with a plaque mounted on The Rothschild Wall in the Freedman/Kaplan Commons, in addition to being acknowledged through other benefits. Rothschild Society membership requires a $100,000 gift, payable over four years (minimum $25,000 per year).
