Kelsey joined EWS in 2024. She taught art in three different states: Ohio, New York, and Texas. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys hiking mountains all across the globe.
Kelly joined EWS in 2008. He is one of Houston’s most sought-after musicians and plays a prominent role in the local music scene. Kelly has been a faculty member of the Texas Music Festival at the University of Houston and the High School for Performing & Visual Arts, He is a member of The Houston Jazz Orchestra, co-leads the all-star ensemble, TKOh!, and has performed with many notable artists. Kelly has been a member of the Houston Summer Jazz Workshop faculty since 1996 under the tutelage of such notable educators as Conrad “Prof” Johnson, Bubbha Thomas, Ronald Thornton & Craig Green, and is the author of Jazz Essentials-Nuts & Bolts Instruction For The Jazz & Pop Musician. Alongside guitar/bass specialist Josh Sheiman, Kelly runs EWS’s unique music program. The curriculum uses music theory (“Music Reality”) as its core, and utilizes a multi-instrumental approach to musical education, where every student learns to play piano, guitar, bass & drums. The course is taught through the lenses of contemporary popular music, classic rock, blues, and jazz. The Emery/Weiner School has been awarded the NAMM Foundation SupportMusic Merit award in years 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021, with the last year being one of only 80 schools in the United States to receive this honor.

Jenna joined EWS in 2021. An Atlanta native, Jenna has taught at various metro Atlanta theatres including the Alliance Theatre, Georgia Ensemble Theatre, and Suwanee Academy of the Arts. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting and a minor in Dance from West Virginia University. After graduation and a summer choreographing at Stagedoor Manor, she moved to New York City where she found an interest in theatre education while starting an after school theatre program for a middle school in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. In 2018, Jenna received her Masters from New York University in Educational Theatre while pursuing other artistic endeavors. She then moved back to Atlanta and became the Director of Theatre and Dance at Saint Francis High School where she began the school's dance team and coached varsity soccer. Jenna has directed and choreographed many shows such as 42nd Street, High School Musical, Seussical, Willy Wonka, Annie, Shrek, Mary Poppins, James and the Giant Peach, Godspell, Once on This Island, We Will Rock You, The Lion King and Matilda. She has also choreographed original productions for the LA Fringe Festival in Los Angeles. In her free time, she likes to play guitar and piano, spend time with her family, travel, and lounge around with her cat Mia.
