    Walker teaches the upper levels of Stagecraft and designs EWS’s theatrical productions. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University. Walker has worked in professional, community, and educational theatre venues for the past 25 years. During that time, he designed more than 100 stage productions and developed productions for Kinkaid, Episcopal, Stratford, Duchesne, and several churches and other organizations. He and his wife, Jessie, are the proud parents of two awesome children. Walker is active in his church, an advocate for solar power, and enjoys tinkering with technology in his spare time.

    Tammy began volunteering at EWS long before joining the staff in 2019. Her love of theatre led her to design and edit the JAGBILL for the Fine Arts department beginning in the spring of 2015. As a Development Associate, Tammy maintains the EWS fundraising database and supports communications through proofreading, writing Kotarot articles, video editing, and even updating the school's marquees. From the fall of 2020 through the fall of 2022, Tammy also served as Emery's COVID Response team Coordinator. . .a role for which there was no blueprint! In a former life, Tammy worked as a television news anchor/reporter/producer, including weekend weather forecasting in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Career highlights include covering hurricanes, interviewing presidential candidates, Texas Governors, and activities on both sides of the Texas/Mexico border. Tammy produced television specials and special projects for FOX 26 in Houston, hosted the FOX Kids Club, and served as a media liaison for the Houston Parks and Recreation Department. Prior to joining EWS, Tammy was a news writer for NewsFix on CW39, Houston’s only anchorless newscast. She continues to enjoy her status as Jack-of-all-trades at Dessert Gallery Bakery & Café, producing special event videos, and freelance reporting for the Jewish Herald-Voice. A native Houstonian, Tammy is married, has two sons, loves board games, crossword puzzles, chocolate, and miniature Schnauzers.

    Zachary first became a part of the EWS family in 2013 serving as a Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach. Zachary returned back to EWS in 2016 and currently teaches Physical Education, Health, and Strength and Conditioning in both the Middle School and Upper School. Heavily involved with both MS and US Athletics, Zachary coaches football, wrestling, and lacrosse. Before reaching Emery/Weiner Zach served as a Paraprofessional in Katy ISD while also working as a Lacrosse Coach for the Katy Cavaliers, Klein Lacrosse Club, and Seven Lakes Lacrosse Club. Zach graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s in Science of Kinesiology where he was a highly decorated lacrosse player earing both Academic and All-American Awards. In his free time Zachary enjoys spending time with friends and family and can be found finding nuances in fitness and athletics.
