    Bio

Angie has been with EWS since 2006. Before joining EWS, Angie worked as an educator, coach and a consultant. As a Spanish teacher and coach, her dedication to helping students and commitment to excellence in the classroom earned her a Rookie Teacher of the Year Award at a Houston area high school. Shortly after 9/11, she joined a global outreach organization and moved overseas to mentor youth in military communities. After her time there, she spent three years as a consultant for a big 5 consulting firm, working on projects in the products, government, and oil and gas industries. There she managed timelines, implemented new programs, and ensured easy transitions for her clients. In her first three years at Emery, Angie taught physical education, health and coached middle school volleyball, varsity soccer and varsity softball. She started as the athletic director in 2009, and she continues to coach volleyball in the middle school. As they would say in Aggieland, she bleeds maroon. Though, even the Aggies could not pull her away from supporting the Emery Jaguars on the sports fields and courts. When she’s not supporting Emery coaches and student-athletes, she loves spending time with her husband and two children, visiting family, and hanging out with friends.
