Truman joined EWS in 2024 after teaching 7th grade English in HISD. Prior to teaching, Truman worked as a Juvenile Supervision Officer, or JSO, ensuring that incarcerated juveniles were safe and assisting with their continuing education, while also serving as Director of Recreational Soccer at Houston Dynamo/Dash. When he's not teaching English or coaching Emery's Varsity Boys Soccer team, Turman enjoys playing soccer and rock climbing.
Justin has been teaching since 2006 when he taught a class of Hurricane Katrina evacuees from New Orleans. After three years at EWS, he spent two years at the Eleanor Kolitz Academy in San Antonio, TX, where he taught Judaic Studies, wrote middle school curriculum, and served as Athletics Director. He is a SuLaM Leadership fellow, and has also served as Middle School Dean of Students. Justin enjoys running with his two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, reading historical fiction, and attending bluegrass music festivals.
Limor has been with EWS since 2005. Before arriving at EWS, she taught Hebrew in Queens, NY at the Yeshiva of Central Queens. Prior to that she taught English, Hebrew and Social Studies in Israel for eight years. She loves her students and is still excited to see them every morning. Limor currently teaches Hebrew one, Hebrew two and Hebrew three at the Upper School and sponsors the High School’s Israel Club and End Hunger Club. She was also the recipient of the Rav Preida Award for Teaching Excellence at EWS in 2012. In her free time she enjoys watching her young daughter’s soccer games, or any good soccer. She loves long or short trips to anywhere in the world. She loves music and she is currently expending her experience on the drums.
