A faculty member since 2004, Teel founded EWS’s music department and has taught English, French, and art history. He currently serves as Director of College Counseling after several years as Associate Director of College Counseling. In addition to his work at EWS, Teel is an organist at Covenant Church in the Museum District, and he is host and producer of PipeWorks, a weekly radio program featuring organ and choral music on Austin’s classical music station, KMFA, 89.5 FM. He has worked for KMFA since 2003.
Annie joined EWS in 2018. Before arriving at EWS, she worked for 20 years as the school receptionist at Beth Yeshurun Day School. Always good for a warm smile and a friendly hello, Annie’s primary responsibilities include welcoming and greeting students, parents, and guests, and she provides administrative support for the advancement and business offices. Outside of work, Annie enjoys spending time with her husband, Mitch, their three grandchildren, and LuLu their rescue labradoodle. An avid foodie, Annie’s favorite cuisine is Sushi and Mexican, and she loves exploring restaurants across Houston.
