Jeff has been with EWS since 2017. Before arriving at EWS, Jeff taught science and math in the Boston Public Schools for seven years after graduating from college. While teaching in Boston, he also coached college lacrosse at Northeastern University. Jeff currently teaches seventh grade Math and seventh grade Pre-Algebra. He also coaches the middle/high school boys Lacrosse team. When he’s not teaching, Jeff loves to hang out with his family, watch a good movie and play sports/video games.
Lisa joined EWS in 2024. Prior to teaching math, Lisa utilized her Mechanical Engineering degree working the mining industry selling High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe in Utah, Nevada, and Wyoming. Lisa's favorite hobbies are walking, jigsaw puzzles, relaxing at the beach or pool, and watching the Astros. Go Astros!
Jennifer is a dynamic educator with over 21 years of teaching experience. Prior to joining EWS in 2025, she spent 16 years teaching middle and high school math at Robert M. Beren Academy and an additional 5 years teaching math in Brauser Maimonides Academy in South Florida. Jennifer holds dual certification to teach mathematics in both Texas and Florida. In addition to math, she has taught Spanish, Home Economics, and Makerspace electives.
Jennifer is passionate about community service and enjoys volunteering on Sundays. In Spring 2025, she published an article titled "Bridging the Gap and Making Connections through Chesed" in the Prizma Jewish Journal HaYidiom. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University. Jennifer is a devoted wife and proud mother of their three amazing teenage boys, Ari, Samuel, and Zachary. She loves spending time with them and experiencing family adventures together like hiking, attending sporting events, and traveling—especially to Israel and Canada.
Prior to EWS, Brenna worked as a teacher in Houston ISD for seven years. During that time, Brenna was a Classroom Culture and Environment model teacher where she mentored other educators to build classroom communities. Brenna received a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University. While at A&M, Brenna was a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field team. Brenna’s interests include watching the Astros, reading, running, cooking, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
