Middle School Student Government

Student Government Association (SGA) responsibilities include overseeing program development that supports school spirit as well as supporting the students, faculty, and staff in the Middle School.
When school issues are brought to the attention of the SGA, their role is to act as representatives of the Middle School and present to the faculty and administration to help create solutions for the Middle School.

SGA officers are elected in the spring for the upcoming school year: only 8th Graders may run for Class President and Vice President, while all students are encouraged to run for secretary and treasurer positions. Grade level representatives are elected each fall. The 8th grade has one representative, while 6th and 7th grades each have two representatives. The SGA meets at least once a week during lunch, in addition to responsibilities during Ha’ashara and outside of school hours. The Middle School SGA will have two faculty members as mentors.
